Shadow Form meets the end

I would like to take the time to address a couple of questions that came up after the latest scheduled game update.
The re-design of the Underworld was intended as a way to add fun new content to the game while preventing ridiculously fast speed clears up the Underworld. (For example, the first Shadow Form group to beat Dhuum took 85 minutes rather than the 7 minutes it used to take similar groups to clear UW.)
This was not an attempt to address all of the concerns about Shadow Form Assassins. That will happen in the next major skill update, which will include big changes to Shadow Form and may also include changes to other prominent farming skills.
Work on this next update is currently in progress, but it looks like it will not happen this month. We are aiming for not only “tweaking numbers” of certain skills, we are looking into making changes that will require extensive testing and implementation time. We intend to heavily involve the Test Krewe in testing and evaluating the changes before they go live. Unfortunately it took longer than expected to get the Test Krewe off the ground.
I hope this sheds a little bit of light on what’s happening and where we are going.

So as you can see the solution for SF is not only Dhuum's update but the next major skill update.
may also include changes to other prominent farming skills - what skills are they talking about? SF will be nerfed for being abused in UWSC but what else could be nerfed 600/smite?
Regina also said that it's going to be changes not only in terms of numbers but in terms of what the skill really does in-game after many "number changes" of SF I start thinking that the solution is giving it another context.
This is Anet's solution for SF and I must tell you that I agree if they really nerf SF.
Is this the case where we say: Merry Xmas SF?

I hope dervs and paragons get a buff in the update.
Also, elementalists need a functionality change to intensity to promote them in high end areas.
Something that for each energy storage ranking, the skill eventually becomes maintainable and deals good armor penetrating dmg.

Skill buffs are usually what create the super imba farming classes. I think they should just give up on that (at least for the goal of making it a super imba desirable skill) and make a team synergy buffing system. For example you get more benefits (+health, armor, skill recharge, less DP penalty, etc...) the more different primary classes you take with you (not applicable to heroes/hench).

Why not just remove Shadow Form from the game since it will most likely become obsolete after the next skill update and no one will use it? Just like Ursan Blessing.

Signet of Spirits, maybe. Once puggers in general realize a spirit spammer has some of the best damage in the game (and is not merely "ok").

Balanced? AHAHAHAHAHAH..........Sorry but the delusion is hillarious. I can think of more new gimmicks than I can count on my two hands. Hell, even the nerfed Ursan is better than balanced in terms of effort/reward ratio. And what's preventing people from just deserting the area like DoA and move to other more profitable areas. The was the exact same argument before Ursan was nerfed...."oh nerf this so that people would do balanced pug again", "don't worry, good players and guilds will play as it was meant", etc. Now, I bet I could camp in the DoA American dist and international dist for an entire day and wouldn't see more than 5 non-farming group come by.

Lulz. I knew it. I never rolled an assassin because I figured SF was gonna be killed. I left the game for a hot minute. Came back. And saw SF was still uber. So what happens when I finally take the time to level a sin? See post one, lol.
Hopefully they leave 600/Smite and such duos alone. They gotta throw the farmers some kind of bone. I wonder how much the Conset market is gonna crash now? I've been farming mats like crazy.

well as long as gimmicks are way more overpowered then balanced doesnt matter.
hopefully with the nerf of SF will get rid of all Speed Clears.
